Identity, Sexuality & Relationships
You get to work out who you are. Nobody else gets a vote.
Affirming, kink-aware therapy for sexuality, gender, identity and relationships.
Working out who you are, who you love and how you want to live isn't a one-off event. It can happen at 15 or at 50, all at once or a bit at a time. It can be exciting, terrifying and exhausting — sometimes in the same afternoon.
This is a space where you don't have to justify yourself, educate me, or arrive with it all figured out. Questioning is welcome. So is changing your mind.
Sound familiar?
-
You're questioning your sexuality or gender and need somewhere safe to think out loud
-
Coming out — or deciding not to, or not yet — is weighing on you
-
Family, faith or community expectations are making it harder to be yourself
-
Your relationships don't follow the standard script, and you want a therapist who won't treat that as the problem
-
Kink, fetishes or the way you express your sexuality are part of your life, and you're tired of editing yourself in therapy
-
You keep ending up in the same relationship patterns and want to understand why
-
You're working out how neurodivergence and identity overlap (they often do)
How we'll work on it
I'm affirming of all sexualities, genders and relationship structures, and I'm kink-aware. Between consenting adults, kink, fetishes, BDSM and non-monogamy aren't problems to solve or symptoms to explain. I won't claim to be an expert in your particular thing, but I've heard a lot and I don't shock easily. You won't be judged for any of it, and we won't spend your sessions picking it apart unless you want to. That's the starting point, not the work itself.
The work is whatever you need it to be: untangling internalised shame, building a sense of self that actually feels like yours, getting through tricky conversations, grieving what you lost or never got, or understanding why certain relationship patterns keep repeating. Schema Therapy is particularly good for that last one. ACT helps you move towards the life you want, rather than the one you were handed.
Your pronouns, your words for yourself, your pace.
Good to know
I see people individually — I don't currently offer couples counselling.
